Hello stranger, welcome to my Hideaway!

[I haven't touched coding since 2007. Please cut me a little slack]

Hello world! This website will (eventually) be a personal site following my endevours to live off the Grid, on a boat and as environmentally friendly as it is practical to do so.

Alongside it's use as an outlet to discuss my various hobbies, interests & musings.
Whilst I will never sucessfully get this site to load on the oldweb due to my reliance upon images. [See my boat on the right]
I strive to have this site be as low performance as possible. Hense my quest to keep the majority of rescources under 80kb, with all big images averaging 175kb & the largest being an astronomical 355kb.
...My animated banner notwithstanding.

Not so fun fact, I am one of the rare people who uses Microsoft Edge on which this site refuses to display correcty.

Yet it renders correctly on Brave, Firefox & Librewolf without issue. It's maddening.

This site is in no fit state to be viewed. Last update: 08/10/2026
